If you didn't know im originally from Flatbush, Brooklyn so i decided to take a vacation from work and chill for a bit.. Here are some photos i took while i was in NY for a few days earlier this month.. Photos are in no specific order, ENJOY.. comments appreciated..

i like feeling of the 'coldness' of a lot of the pictures.
12 is cool, albeit busy, but its a neat shot. im not really feeling the angles in a lot of those.

this is the first time i've actually seen subway trains with no people in NYC.
lol you would be suprised about the subways, depending on the stop ya get off at..

never been always wanted to go.. one thing about stayin in NYC, i couldnt live with is parking on the curb...
oh wow son when did you go up there i just went up at the end of december. that junction pic. is hot and is the van da vier(sp? i always forget how to spell that shit...lol)

integraboi88 - the trains seem that empty because most of the time when i was heading back to Brooklyn it was 2 or 3 a.m.
JITB - LOL grimmy, man you just scary.. aint shit going down in NY really.. NYPD got the shit on lock, there are cops everywhere..
jadakid88 - i was up there the second week this month for 9 days.. non of those photos was taken in Vanderveer or Junction.. The police command bus shot was taken down Sheepshead Bay and the McDonalds shot is at the corner of Nostrand Ave and Church Ave.. few blocks away from Erasmus High School aka E-Hall (that school is grimmy)..

thanks man.. the weather wasnt bad actually.. lowest it got was 24.. im used to the cold so i was straight.. rained one day bit it was straight..

nah, i flew in to LaGuardia.. thats where the first two photos were taken..
great photos. makes me wanna take a trip up there even more now.
and the first photo with the cop, first glance thought he was doing a burnout. lol.

Thanks, I just have a Nikon D40 (that i want to upgrade from) and i was running my Nikkor 24-120mm VR lens most of the time.. The last few shots taken in the city were with my Nikkor 18-55mm Kit lens though..

I just bought a D80 and I'm having a blast with it. They are a steal right now. Look into them or into D90 if your budget allows it.

Yea i know.. Im looking at either the D90 or D200.. because Ive outgrown my D40 bigtime..
From what ive heard the D200 is quite noisy, however you can get em BNIB for 600 at bestbuy.com. I dunno. Im personally saving my pennies for a D300. But if the choice is those two, id go with the D90
good looks my dude, i was wondering how the D200 handled noise.. I aint balling so D300 is out of the question but as far as what you sayin i will most likely just go with the D90 and call it a day.. Just stack quality glass after i get that..
Try going to races out there next time.
ohh trust i know what the street racing scene like up there homie.. I live on B20vtec, my dude NYCE1 always got the wicked coverage..
